Open a demonstration certificate and review the capture information, cryptographic fingerprints, electronic signature and verification link.
CertiPhoto does more than add a date to a file. It controls the capture, consolidates useful data and produces a signed document whose integrity can be verified without any time limit.
The photo or video is created inside the app so checks can be applied when the evidence is produced.
The position is consolidated by cross-checking available GNSS/GPS, mobile cell, Wi-Fi network and IP address signals.
Evidence data and SHA-256 fingerprints are brought together in an electronically signed PDF/A-3B certificate.
The identifier, QR code and signature make it possible to check the integrity and status of the certificate later.
Certificates are securely and redundantly archived across three data centres located in France, in accordance with NF Z42-013 and ISO 14641.
Photographs are retained for 3 years for individuals and 10 years for businesses. Videos are retained for 90 days. In all cases, the PDF/A-3B certificate and its verification remain available without any time limit.
CertiPhoto documents the creation of a photo or video inside the app, its available technical context, timestamp and integrity. These elements trace the file from capture to certificate.
A CertiPhoto certificate establishes a complete technical chain of evidence: document origin, file integrity, timestamp, capture context and performed checks. These objective, verifiable and durably accessible elements strengthen its evidential value and provide solid support in the event of a dispute.
CertiPhoto supports both occasional use and professional deployments: mobile capture, PDF certificate, portal access and public verification.
A picture taken from the app, timestamped, geolocated when available and sealed in a PDF certificate.
A video sequence linked to digital fingerprints, proof artifacts and a signed certificate.
Each certificate can be checked online using its identifier, QR code or verification link.
Each certificate is self-contained, which means all cryptographic data are embedded to be checked with no limit in time. There is no dependency whatsoever with an external entity which could potentially be corrupted, as a Blockchain for instance.
When it comes to documents management, PDF/A ISO standard has established itself worldwide since its launch in 2005. It is platform independent and designed to achieve long-term archiving of electronic documents.
Photos and certificates are not publicly indexed. Access relies on account permissions, certificate-specific identifiers and the sharing mechanisms selected by the user.
Businesses use a portal to attach team members, share credits, define quotas and retrieve certificates created in the field.
CertiLink simplifies mobile deployment, while the API provides authorised access to certificates, metadata and files from an external information system.
Workflows can be adapted to business applications by pre-filling context, controlling access and connecting existing operational tools.
CertiPhoto is designed for individuals, businesses and organisations that need clean documentation without heavy procedures.

Probantia SAS publishes and operates CertiPhoto. The service is developed in France around security, traceability and digital evidence retention.
CertiPhoto was designed by Pascal Eric Mayani, an IT engineer specialising in information-system security and digital archiving, and a court-appointed expert.
This combined technical and legal experience has guided the service since 2016: producing evidence that is understandable, verifiable and useful in real situations.
